Changing Families Groups Forming Now
Hello, Ventana Vista families-
We are in the planning stages of forming our Changing Families groups at school. These small groups will meet weekly with me (outside of major classroom instruction time) along with peers from their grade level to do some processing around family transitions through various activities. Students have found group to be very beneficial in relating to others who have gone through similar experiences. If your family has experienced a recent separation or divorce and you are interested in your child participating (or would like to learn more), please email me at kfaber@cfsd16.org. I have been in contact with some families already who are interested, and I will send out more information as we get closer. I am aiming to begin in February. Each group will meet for 8-10 sessions.
