Dear Ventana Vista Families,
The school year has flown by and will end on Wednesday. I have enjoyed getting to know the staff, students and families in my first year at Ventana Vista, and look forward to the 2016-17 school year.
I want to thank all of our parents who took the time to complete the annual Spring Parent Survey. The feedback received from our community will inform our strategic planning process to identify areas for improvement. We recognize the importance of listening to our community members, and we sincerely value your input as we continue to work towards creating the optimum learning environment for all of our students. Thank you!
Wednesday is our last day of school and we will celebrate the promotion of our 5th graders in our traditional casual and fun fashion at 1:00pm in the MPR. This year it is combined with their spring music performance. Because it is a short week, there will be no early release on Tuesday. School will dismiss at 11:00 for ½ day kindergarten and 3:00pm for everyone else.
Thanks to all of you who have registered your children for school. We appreciate your efforts to help us out as we make staffing decisions. You will get information about the new school year and your child’s class placement in the beginning of August. Your child will be able to meet their new teacher on August 10th and the first day of school will be August 11th.
I wish you all an adventure filled summer.
