Science Week Schedule Monday, January 23rd: 7:30am – 8:30am and 2:30pm – 3:15pm Drop off Science Fair Projects in Southwest Room   Tuesday, January 24th: Judging (Closed session)  Wednesday, January 25th: 3:30pm – 5:30pm 3rd, 4th & 5th Grade oral presentations in Southwest Room  Sign-up Genius to select your time slot: www.SignUpGenius.com/go/10C0C4BABAB29A1FC1-vv2017 Thursday, January 26th: 5pm – 7pm OPEN HOUSE & OPEN ROBOTICS NIGHT; Science Fair results are announced  Friday, January 27th: 7:30am – 8:30am & 2:30pm – 3:15pm Project pick up Dine Out at Potbelly Hungry for a tasty sandwich, salad or hearty soup?  How about a delicious handmade milkshake?   Stop by Potbelly Sandwich Shop (5545 E. Broadway) on Thursday, February 2ndfrom 5-8 PM grab a quick dinner, or stay awhile and hang out with friends.   Potbelly will donate 25% of all sales to Ventana Vista (carry-out and online orders included)!  We will be raffling of coupons for FREE Potbelly food! See you there!! Family Sweetheart Dance Ventana Vista's First Sweetheart Dance will be held Friday, February 17th from 6-8 PM in the MPR. Music, dinner, flowers and photos are on tap for a special evening with your sweetheart. The Dance Committee is hard at work planning a wonderful evening for all.  Currently they are looking for twinkle light donations and Valentine's decorations.  If you have decorations to give or donate, please contact Cathie Ashley at  cathleenashley18@gmail.com Please note, this dance is a fun and special way for students to celebrate Valentine's Day with their favorite adult/family member.  It is not a boy/girl dance. Coming Up •Potbelly Dinner Fundraiser on Thursday, February 2nd from 5-8 PM. •Sweetheart Dance on Friday, February 17th from 6-8 PM. Thank you to everyone who attended last Thursday's skating party. Ventana Vista had a groovy time and attendance was totally far out! We had nearly 240 skaters and raised a total of $432.93! So Rad! Special thanks to our Dyn-o-mite teachers for coming, hanging out and even racing the raffle-winning students:  Principal Mulay, Sra.
